Assassins Creed Review

With all the hype about Assassins Creed 2 its only fitting to review the first game, Not only cause its great, but because its one of my favorites as well. First the story, you are an assassin that was captured, forced to reveal the actions of your ancestor threw a machine, which can read and decodes past memories. While in this machine (which is where most of the story and game play will happen) you will play as Altair, one of your ancestors from the past, Altair is the highest ranking assassin until he disobeys the creed. He is stripped of his rank and forced to begin all over as a novice. he is tasked with carrying out different assassinations in three major cities surrounding an area called the kingdom. As you progress, will regain your equipment, and rank. As well as unravel the truth behind the assassinations. The graphics, which are a bit out dated still look great and really shine threw on a high perch or just arriving in one of the cities. The controls are a bit iffy at times, when you want to do something and it does another, which in some cases, can almost get you killed. The unique draw of course is being a secret assassin tasked with finding, and killing high priority targets, not to mention, escaping with your life. Overall, The controls are fun, but sometimes annoying, also side missions can get a bit repetitive, but with an amazing story, visuals and unique draw. I give it 4 out of 5.

Call of Duty WaW Blood and Iron Tip

Note: In this mission there will be numerous tanks, infantry with missile launchers, and artillery which can easily destroy you. My advice is to stay behind cover such as trees, bunkers, and hills that cover the entire tank.

In the beginning, try to take out the artillery behind the trees to the left. Then stay next to the house on the right, zoom in and take out artillery nest two. Move up and try to stay behind cover to the left. Take out the tank on the road up ahead as well as other tanks to the right. After that move up a bit more so that you can zoom in on artillery nest three, take it out, then move around it and the bunkers on the left and head toward the objective. Head toward the radio tower, try and avoid the rockets from infantry, zoom from a distance shoot three to four times and it should come crashing down. After you have taken out the radio tower, MAKE sure you go around the left side , destroy the three tanks up ahead, and the rest is pretty straight forward. Remember to be cautious and stay behind cover.

Batman: Arkham Asylum Review

Now I have have always liked batman since I was a kid but there weren't really any games to speak of except the one on super nintendo back in the day. Now that's changed with all the excitement from the new movies it seems this game has been done and done well indeed. To start, the main character of course is, Batman. you start off by taking Joker to Arkham Asylum, apparently you caught him earlier and now your escorting him threw the asylum with some other guards when, wait! Joker escapes, causes chaos at the asylum, and now its up to you to track him down and set things right. The graphics looks great as farther in the game you will see the entire asylum which looks awesome. The interiors where you will be spending lots of time look seamless as well. The game play is great as you wield batarangs, a batclaw, and other high tech gear to help you along. Combat is fantastic as I spent lots of time in the challenge arenas trying to improve my fighting. also with a type of side mission with the riddler challenges this game is sure to keep you entertained for some time. Overall there are some minor flaws in the game but with a solid story, very fun gameplay, very pretty graphics I give it 5 out of 5.

Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock Review

My first impression of guitar hero was not good but over time Ive come to enjoy the unique style and game play. Color coordination combined with music rhythm. The graphics aren't really the the prettiest and the crowd seems to move together with only two different movements in all. However don't let that discourage you. To get the most out of the game you must have some kind of guitar controller with or with out a cord. The buttons seem to work out great and it will take some practice but this game can get addicting, single player will have you play as an up and coming guitar player in a band, as you progress you will get better gigs and new songs to play, You will make money to spend on new guitars, outfits, etc, as you get better. After you complete the single player you can take all your new outfits or guitars online. You can play with someone in co-op or put your skills up against another player in a number of game modes. Overall with a unique style of musical game play, online multiplayer, a small library of songs, but with a small lack in graphics. I give it 4 out of 5.

Call of Duty WaW Preview

I will be reviewing Call of Duty WaW this week so stay posted!. Currently I will talk about the story behind the game. The game is based on WW2 and the conflict between United states and Japanese forces. You will be playing as Private Miller in the Marines making an offensive toward Japan. You will also be playing as a private in the Soviet Union as you go threw the last few battles pushing into Natzee Germany.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 Review

My first review will be of Marvel vs Capcom 2 on the Xbox live arcade. Marvel vs Capcom 2 is a fast paced fighting game that has been redone with enhanced graphics that looks and feels great. Single player really has no story but is fun. Online multiplayer mode is where the action is. Ranked matches are very competitive but very addicting. Controls are easy to pick up and play but take skill to master combos and counters, the camera which is pretty standard in 2D fighting games impressed me with its fast motion and tracking.Finally the unique draw to this game is a number of things to the multiplayer, a huge roster of characters including The street fighters, X-men, and Avengers plus many more, finishing moves, etc. Overall you guessed it I gave this game 5 out of 5 for Look, Feel, unique draw, and multiplayer. First, any advise I give is found, wrote, and posted by myself. Second I have came up with a rating system, I will rate each game by Look=the overall graphics and visuals of the game, Feel= How well the different actions respond as well as camera and other controls, Story= unique story telling to the game and how well it carries threw to the end, Unique draw= This could be a number of things such as an amazing single player campaign or online multiplayer. Just one of those things could make or break a game. Overall= The overall rating of the game after all things took into account. I will began to reviewing this week so stay posted.
